[Poem?]

A poet from Malaysia wrote the following poem(?) called "Nostalgia."

 It goes like this --

[Nostalgia]
That year they traveled to Africa
His dad was eaten by a lion
His mum was eaten by a crocodile
His brother was eaten by a leopard
His sister was eaten by a python

Now whenever missing home,
He visited the zoo.

==== The End ====

It's normally very very hard to translate a poem into another language.
I'm amazed by how easily it can be translated into English but still conveys the same idea.
No image, no sensibility was compromised through translation.
A very simple poet in depth, wouldn't you agree?

Could someone tell me more about this poet, Jia Ya (which, in Chinese, means "fake teeth")?
This person and his talent are just a myth to me.

This is what the cover of his poem collection looks like, again, full of fun and absurdity.
